Dr. Alexander Simon, DDS
Dr. Alexander Simon is a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Catholic High in 2011 and earned a degree in Biological Sciences from LSU. He attended the LSU School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Alexander strives to offer gentle and compassionate care to make every patient feel comfortable and welcomed in the dental chair. Dr. Alexander has a passion for learning and providing the most up-to-date treatment options that cater to each patient individually. In his free time, Dr. Alexander loves to tailgate/watch LSU sports, travel, cook, play soccer, and golf.
Dr. Jordan Boone, DDS
Dr. Jordan Boone is a skilled and dedicated dentist who studied at the School of Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Boone earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where she developed a strong foundation in science and problem-solving that she applies to her dental practice. Known for her exceptional care and expertise, Dr. Boone is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health with a compassionate and personalized approach. Outside of dentistry, she has a creative side and enjoys doing custom embroidery, blending her love for design with her technical skills. Dr. Boone’s unique combination of talents makes her a well-rounded professional who continually strives to make a positive impact in the lives of her patients.
Dr. Shelby Betts, DDS
Born and raised in Benton, Louisiana, Dr. Betts brings small-town values and a deep passion for dentistry to the communities of Watson and Denham Springs. A proud valedictorian graduate of Benton High School, she went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Betts has come to love the southern culture and is honored to serve as a trusted neighborhood dentist. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, watching LSU sports, traveling, and making memories with her husband and their beloved dog, Mae. She also proudly serves as a board member of Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital and other charitable organizations.

Known for her compassionate care and gentle approach, she strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel at ease.

Camille joined the Hood Dental Care team in 2024 as a hygiene assistant. After earning her degree from the LSU School of Dentistry, she returned in 2025 as a hygienist. She is passionate about providing high-quality care and educating her patients on the importance of their oral health. In her free time, Camille enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends!
Emma Crowther
Emma joined the Hood Dental team in 2025 after graduating from LSU with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. With a passion for creativity, she always knew she wanted to work in social media—and working with teeth was just a bonus! In her free time, Emma loves watching LSU Baseball, traveling, online shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
Claire
Claire joined the Hood Dental Care team in 2022. Born and raised in Central, Louisiana, she is proud to call this community home. As Office Manager, Claire is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel genuinely cared for and leave with a smile. She thrives on supporting the team and takes pride in watching everyone grow and succeed. Claire often says it’s a true joy to work alongside such dedicated professionals every day. Outside of the office, Claire enjoys spending time with her family, being a proud mom to her young son, relaxing on the water, and cheering on LSU football.
Annie
Annie graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Annie has been a patient at Hood Dental Care since she can remember, and wants to provide her patients the same positive experience she has had during her time here. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dachshund, Wilson, friends, and family!
Jade
Jade graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in May of 2020, with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She intends to create a welcoming experience for her patients and provide comprehensive care in her hometown of Denham Springs. In her free time, she loves cooking and spending time with family and friends!
